Four requirements for thinking about the continuity of systems.
Organisation · Resilience · Integration · Coherence: ORI-C studies how a system constitutes an organisation, absorbs disturbances without exhausting its margins, integrates the traces of its history, and maintains relations compatible with its own continuation.
Living systems remain the framework's grounding domain and its most demanding empirical case. Recent work tests its reach in other domains — the cosmos, quantum systems, the psyche, institutions and artificial-intelligence architectures — without erasing the mechanisms specific to each.
The distinction remains constant: a common dynamic operator can instantiate across several domains without those domains sharing the same causal structure. This is the difference between operative universality et structural isomorphism.

Falsifiability is not a criterion applied from outside. It is a demand applied to the framework itself.
Four layers of statement are never conflated: observations, patterns, refutable hypotheses, narratives. The formal programmes — CumulativeSymbolicThreshold, MCS, ΔW/K_rel — document their negative results and unconfirmed verdicts as much as their successes.
